We are excited to announce the launch of our latest service enhancement - the ‘Fastgate’ system. This innovative design, building upon our Terminal Operating System (TOS) improvements in Europoort, is set to transform gate processes for operational excellence with significantly faster processing times and a more efficient experience at the terminal consignments without delay.
The Fastgate system is comprised of three elements:
- A pre-gate gantry that will analyse all vehicles in and out of the terminal, providing ANPR (automatic number plate recognition), vehicle measurement and a full 360-degreee capture of the vehicle and unit condition.
- A self-service kiosk providing a multi-language user interface for drivers to gate-in/out or check in to a sailing.
- An automated barrier system providing seamless entry or departure from the terminal.
This comprehensive approach is aimed at providing you with a smooth, efficient, and secure entry and exit process reducing wait times and optimising traffic flow within our terminals.
These innovations will bring some changes to the way drivers enter and exit the terminal and the level of information required before arrival. Over the coming weeks we will provide detailed guidance and support to help you and your drives to adapt to any new processes.
